American Alex Kang saw his lead cut to three shots midway through the final round of the PGA Tour Clearwater Bay Open on Sunday.
Kang began the final day at Clearwater Bay Golf Country in possession of a four-shot advantage and improved to 16-under-par overall after playing his first nine holes in two-under having recovered from an early bogey.
Australia’s Daniel Nisbet, Australia’s Daniel Pearce and a surging Zhang Xinjun led the chase of Kang.
China’a Zhang looked in particularly ominous form after responding from dropping three shots in his first two holes by posting six consecutive birdies to finish the front nine.
