The property market in parts of China is so inflated that young couples are getting divorced to get around new rules restricting families to just one home.
Restrictions in Shanghai and other major cities were introduced to try to take heat out of demand.
But there was a rush of couples at government offices who got divorced – under false pretence – so they were able to buy a second property.
