Hongkongers invited to help set world record for bicycle kicks on Central Harbourfront

Want to break a world record? The inaugural Hong Kong EPT Health Fest is inviting the public to come together in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the number of bicycle kicks achieved in a minute.

The event, to be held at the Central Harbourfront on August 7, will showcase the latest health and fitness products and classes in the city, niche instructors, fitness centres, yoga studios, boxing clubs, nutrition gurus, supplement suppliers, food-delivery services, eco products and magazines.

EPT, which stands for Elite Personal Training, is a family fitness centre that is organising the event in conjunction with Central Venue Management, with the aim of introducing small- and medium-sized health and fitness businesses to the rest of Hong Kong.

“We’re excited to be organising the inaugural EPT Heath Fest in aid of three charities [Youth Diabetes Action, Things That Can Happen and Ocean Recovery Alliance],” says co-organiser Nathan Solia. “It will be a great, healthy family morning out for anyone with an interest in fitness, health and wellness.”

EPT Health Fest will be held from 8.30am to 12.30pm. Entry is free .
