Oktoberfest in Hong Kong

Tao Li at the New World Millennium in Tsim Sha Tsui is featuring freshwater fish until the end of October. The selection includes perch broth with chrysanthemum and egg; deep-fried mandarin fish with pine nuts and sweet sauce; deep-fried marble goby with soy sauce; and snakehead fish cooked two ways. Hoi Yat Heen at the Harbour Plaza North Point is serving tonic dishes and dried seafood until October 31. On the menu are dishes of deep-fried cod fish and mango roll; braised pomelo peel with goose web; steamed fish maw stuffed with shrimp mousse and crab roe; and scrambled egg with fish maw, crab meat and crab roe. Promenade restaurant at the The Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hung Hom is featuring Korean and Taiwanese dishes on its dinner buffet until the end of October.
